Stimulants, such as pre workout drinks, increase heart rate and blood pressure and typically have short term effect (about 30 minutes). The after effects can include an energy crash, muscle burning, and slowed recovery.

In normal conditions or at rest, our bodies are able to produce all the ATP (muscle energizing fuel) we need for a healthy existence. However, in stressful conditions, such as during strenuous high-intensity exercise or long periods of exertion, ATP cannot be replaced fast enough. In fact, when ATP is broken down for energy under these conditions, some of the molecules used by the cell to recycle ATP are washed out of the cell and cannot be easily replenished. When this happens, there are not enough of these compounds available and muscle cell life is at risk.

To stay active, and to maintain peak level muscle performance, we need to keep the pool of ATP at the highest level possible. This pool is absolutely vital for all the energy muscle cells need to provide maximum strength and endurance.

Products we recommend for endurance are: AB12 - 2 caps every day, PrePost - 2 scoops in 20 oz. of water. Drink 1/2 10 minutes before training, refill bottle water and sip throughout your training, finish any remaining at end of workout.
